Parish Pastoral CouncilThe Parish Pastoral Council, an advisory group to the pastor, is composed of both appointed and elected members who assist the pastor in his leadership role of planning, organizing, initiating, promoting, coordinating and reviewing the evangelization, worship, religious education, and service activities of the parish. The following are members of our Pastoral Council:
Parish Finance CouncilThe Parish Finance Council is appointed by the pastor, and serves as an advisory board to oversee the finances of the parish to ensure that the material and spiritual needs of the parish are adequately funded. The Council reviews income and expenditures on a monthly basis and makes recommendations to safeguard parish assets. The Council provides annual financial reports on the state of parish finances. The following are members of our Finance Council:
Child Safety Committee – Protecting God’s ChildrenThis committee is responsible for implementing the Archdiocesan adult education program for child safety. All persons in the parish who interact with children are required to attend this three hour program. The following are members of our Child Safety Committee:
Facilities Maintenance and Renovation CommitteeThis committee is responsible for: (1) the physical plant (church and rectory) and grounds (lawns, plantings, driveways, and parking lot); (2) recommending maintenance and repairs; (3) overseeing the planting and watering of lawns, shrubs, and flowers; and, (4) planning, coordinating, and implementing renovations to the physical plant and grounds.
